SHIRODHARA is an ancient Ayurvedic therapy. A stream of warm herbal oil streams over the forehead (Third Eye), allowing the oil to run through the scalp nourishing the hair. Shirodhara has been used for thousands of years to bring the body, mind, and spirit into balance and harmony. Shirodhara soothes the mind and eliminates any exhaustion resting in the nervous system. 125$
SWEDANA is an Ayurvedic steam treatment used to loosen impurities lodged in the deep tissues of the body. In Ayurvedic Swedana, unlike most steam baths, the head is kept out of the steam tent; the head, heart and lower abdomen are kept cool at all times. This insures the central nervous system stays calm and the deeper tissues remain accessible during the treatment. As the body warms up, the entire circulatory system is stimulated, which in turn begins the flow of vayus and the activation of the nadis. (This is not a stand-alone service. It is included in the Udvartana Treatment.)
